Randall Lear Statement

My work explores different processes and ideologies of painting. It contains moments in which ideas collide and the result is what you see. I combine various visual languages and theories to create a work that gives the illusion of meaning. The hope is to arrange enough disparate ideas/images in a single frame, so that the image becomes object. These objects do not depict, nor do they describe they just exist.
